Data controller

Maxnovi, operated by Juan Tabares, is the data controller for the personal data collected through this site. Contact: hello@maxnovi.com.

Data we collect

Through the /contacto and /demo forms we collect: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), the type of project you're interested in, estimated budget (optional), and the message you write. We also automatically record your browsing language, referring page, and browser user-agent, so we can reply correctly and detect spam. We don't use advertising tracking cookies: the site uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, cookie-less performance measurement tools that don't individually identify you.

Purpose of processing

We use your data only to respond to your contact or demo request, prepare a proposal or quote if you asked for one, send you commercial information related to what you asked about, and improve our forms and internal processes. We don't sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes unrelated to Maxnovi.

Data processors and international transfer

To handle your request, your data passes through these providers, acting as data processors under our instructions:

• HubSpot, Inc. (CRM): stores your contact so we can follow up. Located in the United States.
• Brevo (sends the confirmation email): located in the European Union (France).
• Telegram: internal alert to the Maxnovi team when your request comes in.
• Vercel Inc. (website hosting, and runs this logic): located in the United States.

This means your personal data is transferred internationally, outside Colombia. By checking the consent box on the form, you expressly authorize this transfer, which is necessary to handle your request.

Your rights (habeas data)

As the data subject, you have the right to:

• Know, update and correct your data.
• Request proof of the authorization you gave.
• Be informed about how your data has been used.
• File complaints with Colombia's Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.
• Revoke your authorization and/or request deletion of your data when legal principles, rights and guarantees aren't respected.
• Access your data free of charge.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@maxnovi.com. We'll respond within the terms set by Colombian law: inquiries within 10 business days, complaints within 15 business days.

Retention period

We keep your data for as long as there's an active or potential business relationship, and up to 2 years after your last contact with us if no project moves forward, unless you exercise your deletion right earlier.

Information security

Your request always travels encrypted (HTTPS) and digitally signed (HMAC-SHA256) to prevent tampering between this site and our internal systems. Access credentials to our providers are encrypted and not publicly accessible.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our providers or processes change. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page. If the change is material, we'll announce it visibly on the site.
